With The Visa Debit Card, you can make purchases directly from your share draft checking account anywhere that displays the VISA logo. Use it like you would a credit card at the register, even though it’s not credit. Press credit, sign the receipt and the purchase is deducted from your share draft checking account, without a fee. You can even get cash back at point-of-sale (POS) terminals. Now, isn’t that easy?

You’ll save money.
There’s no charge to get The Visa Debit Card and no annual fee. If your original card is lost or stolen, a fee does apply for a replacement card. When you use The Visa Debit Card, you’ll enjoy checking convenience without having to write a check. That will save you the cost of check printing.

Use The Visa Debit Card at ATMs, too.
The Visa Debit Card can also be used at over 500,000 ATMs worldwide to access your share savings and share draft checking accounts. When used at Air Force Federal Credit Union owned ATMs, or any of the CO-OP Network ATMs, there are no transaction fees. Transaction and inquiry fees do apply at other ATMs.

In order to ensure the security of your account, we must have your request for The Visa Debit Card in writing.  Print The Visa Debit Card Application.  Then, complete, sign and return it to any one of our five service centers.  This can be done in person, through the mail (Air Force Federal Credit Union, Attn: Member Services Department, 1560 Cable Ranch Road, Suite 200, San Antonio, TX 78245), or by fax to Member Services 210.678.5291. Applications are also available at our offices and can be mailed to you upon request. Just call 210.673.5610 in San Antonio or toll free 800.227. the Continental U.S.

The Visa Debit Card will be mailed to you about a week after we receive your application.
